Position Title:    Associate Director of Global Impact                                                         Campus: ALL 
Reports To: Lead Director of Wholistic Impact                                                                     Status: Part-Time (24 hours) 
 
Position Summary: This person is responsible for all aspects of our Global Outreach Ministry at Central. This role will ensure the implementation of Central’s global vision as it involves international citizens living locally and international/global partner sites and to be a catalyst in global peacemaking. This person also oversees staff and ministry teams associated with the Global Outreach Ministry. 
 
This position is connected to the faith and ministry of the church and moves forward the vision of Central Christian Church. 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for carrying and casting the vision of Global Outreach 
    • Practicing the Principles of Disciple Making Movements (DMM) 
    • Partner with Local Impact Director to develop strategies and people on each Central campus that reach international citizens living in our local communities. 
    • Leads staff who are globally focused on their ministry work 
  • Recruit teams on each campus community to support our work internationally and engage Central Owners in Global Outreach ministry opportunities 
  • Works directly with our Partners in the Field 
    • Working with/encouraging/mentoring those serving overseas 
    • Primary responsibility for this belongs to the Member Care Team, and to those serving specifically on Church Based Teams 
  • Oversees and executes the international portion of the Global Outreach Budget 
  • Ensures compliance with Central organizational requirements/processes (ROCK, budgets, HR, calendaring, team event participation, etc.) 
  • Provides significant leadership to ensure that Central Owners continue to grow and be healthy across all campuses by casting vision and a variety of opportunities to choose to Global Impact 
  • When appropriate, leads one Transformation Trip per ministry year 
  • Asists with training and curriculum for Transformation Trip leaders.  
  • Submits annual report of Global Outreach (international) activities and involvements each ministry year 
  • Drives church engagement in International Weekends and generous giving opportunities globally 
  • Responsible for church-based global workers, ensuring Global Impact is mobilizing Central attendees to think about being goers. 
  • Proactively recruiting, training, and overseeing preparations and does this in line with our long-term vision 
  • Responsible for engagement of congregation on a global scale 
  • Cultivates relationships with Global organizations and ministries that Central can partner with both locally and globally. 
  • Responsible of content generation (for Global Impact) and casting vision for effective social media.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to twenty-five pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
