Position Title: Wholistic Impact - Director
Campus: Supports all Campuses, Offices in Mesa
Reports To: Executive Pastor – Wholistic Impact
Status: Full-time/Exempt
Position Summary: This person leads the Wholistic Impact Ministry at Central and provides leadership to all areas of impact. S/he will recruit and lead volunteers and teams in concert with the mission and vision of Central’s Wholistic Impact Ministry. S/he will also ensure the implementation of Central’s global vision to the unreached people groups both here and internationally and be a catalyst in global peacemaking. This person oversees staff and ministry teams associated with the Wholistic Impact Ministry.
This position is connected to the faith and ministry of the church and moves forward the vision of Central Christian Church.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the vision, execution, and strategy of the Wholistic Impact ministry
- Networks and provides expertise and resources in all aspects of Wholistic Impact to advise Central leadership, staff, and congregation.
- Responsible for carrying and casting the vision of Wholistic Impact globally by:
- Practicing the Principles of Disciple Making Movements (DMM)
- Recruiting a committed team of volunteers who own the ministry
- Ensuring congregational involvement of all ages
- Leads the Wholistic Impact Staff in coordinating the alignment of all ministry activities
- Works directly with our Partners in the Field by encouraging and mentoring those serving overseas
- Provides significant leadership to ensure that Central Owners continue to grow and be healthy across all campuses by casting vision and a variety of opportunities to choose to participate with Wholistic Impact
- When appropriate, leads one Transformation Trip per ministry year
- Assists with training and curriculum for Transformation Trip leaders
- Submits annual report of Wholistic Impact activities and involvements each ministry year
- Responsible for church-based global workers, ensuring Wholistic Impact is mobilizing Central attendees to be goers
- Proactively recruiting, training, and overseeing preparations and does this in line with our long-term vision
- Cultivates partner relationships with organizations and ministries on behalf of the Central and the Wholistic Impact ministry.
- Connect and engage with people in our community who are global citizens (i.e. refugees, international students, etc.)
- Lead Central toward becoming a more multi-ethnic church

- Proven leadership in project management
- Solid organizational skills which include attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

- Effectively communicates through listening and providing constructive feedback. Keeps short accounts with team.
- Be a leader who develops leaders
- Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility in the changing work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be proficient in MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word with demonstrated experience using social media
- Must show evidence of multi-generational cultural and global awareness

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to twenty-five pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
